CARTEL SKATE CO was born in France in 1997, with the goal to offer an alternative to the expensive US skate brands. As the skateboard and streetwear scene was exploding, time was come to create a 100% european company, focused on quality and the specific needs of the european market. Quickly, some of the top french riders join the team, and the brand starts growing. In 2002 CARTEL SKATE CO joins Hoff Distribution, and start producing accessories and parts, founding PROHIBITION SUPPLIES, a sister company specialized in spare-parts and cruisers.
